The rewards of what we do…

It is so nice to get e-mail from happy diners. Thought we’d share this one that made all of us smile from ear to ear:

“Aloha. I wanted to take a moment to let you know about the wonderful experience my friend and I had at Ola’s for dinner last night (8/12/11). I had lunched at OLA numerous times while spending the day on the North Shore, but I had never ventured up for dinner, as I live in Kaneohe and it’s a bit of a ways to go. However, I am very glad we did. The food, atmosphere and service was outstanding. We dined on the Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Seared Beef Poke, Misoyaki Butterfish and the Five-Spiced Braised Beef Short Ribs…. all of which was outstanding! The wine selections were fantastic as well. Our server Chris was exceptional, and Dave created one amazing Short Rib entree. I cannot say enough good things about the experience, as it was just an overall wonderful evening! Mahalo nui loa for doing what you all do so well…. I/we will be back. You can count on it!

Aloha, Larry Ham”

Mahalo piha, Mr. Ham and see you again soon!

Making dreams come true…

We are so blessed to be a part of many wonderful moments at OLA. Last night, it was a pleasure to have three celebrations. To start it off, our good friend, Malia, visited with her family to celebrate her sister Michelle’s birthday.

It was also great having Mr. & Mrs. Chang in for dinner to celebrate their anniversary.

To top off an awesome night, OLA was honored to work with the Children’s Dream Fund from St. Petersberg, Florida, to help make a dream come true for 12 year old Malcolm, who suffered a severe stroke in February. His dream was to visit Hawaii and to surf, snorkel, see the sites and all that our beautiful island has to offer.

Malcom is pictured here with Colin, an exceptional server at OLA.

The entire Williams ‘Ohana had a great time and it meant a lot to us that we got to show them what the aloha spirit is all about!  Love nights like these! OLA is Life!!!
